Ingredients

For 4 servings

  • 400 g cannellini beans
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • black pepper — to taste
  • 2 carrot
  • 2 celery stalk
  • 1 red bell pepper

Instructions

  1. 1

Rinse and drain the cannellini beans under cold water to remove excess sodium.

  2. 2

In a food processor, combine the cannellini beans, fresh basil leaves, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic cloves, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 3

Blend the mixture until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning with additional salt or pepper if needed.

  4. 4

Transfer the dip to a bowl and cover. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

  5. 5

Meanwhile, wash and cut the carrots, celery stalks, and red bell pepper into sticks.

  6. 6

Serve the chilled white bean and basil dip with the prepared vegetable sticks for dipping.
