Ingredients
For 4 servings
- 2 banana

- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- sea salt — to taste
Instructions
- 1
Peel the bananas and slice them into 1/4 inch rounds.
- 2
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 3
Place a small dollop of almond butter on half of the banana slices, then top with the other half of the slices to form small sandwiches.

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely melted and smooth.
- 5
Dip each banana sandwich into the melted chocolate to coat half of it, then place back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- 6
Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over the chocolate-coated section of each bite.
- 7
Place the baking sheet in the freezer for at least 30 minutes, or until the bites are completely frozen.
- 8
Serve immediately from the freezer for a refreshing snack.
