- 1 cup brown rice
- 3 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 2 tablespoon curry powder
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 clove garlic
- salt — to taste
- black pepper — to taste
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoon fresh cilantro

Rinse and sort the split peas. In a large pot, combine 2 cups of water with the split peas and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes until tender.
