- 4 cups kale
- 1 onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 carrot
- 2 stalks celery
- 6 cups vegetable broth
- 1 can canned diced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- salt — to taste
- black pepper — to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 bay leaf

Peel and cube the sweet potatoes into 1-inch pieces.
