  • 300 g spaghetti
  • 400 g canned tomatoes
  • 100 g red lentils
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • salt — to taste
  • black pepper — to taste
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions, then drain.

    While the spaghetti is cooking, finely chop the onion and garlic.

    In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until the onion becomes translucent.
