Ingredients

  • 250 g pasta
  • 400 g canned chickpeas
  • 400 g canned tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • salt — to taste
  • black pepper — to taste
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

    Dice the onion and mince the garlic.

    In a large pot over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic until soft, about 3 minutes.

    Add canned tomatoes, including their juice, and crush them with a spoon.

    Stir in the canned chickpeas, water, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
