- 1 cup dry green lentils
- 1 carrot
- 1 onion
- 2 clove garlic
- 14.5 ounce canned diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 4 cup water
- 1 vegetable stock cube
- salt — to taste
- black pepper — to taste
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
