- 1 cup dried lentils
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons curry powder
- salt — to taste
- black pepper — to taste
- 4 cups water

Rinse the brown rice and lentils under cold water.
