  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 can canned diced tomatoes
  • 1 can canned black beans
  • 1 can canned kidney beans
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • salt — to taste
  • black pepper — to taste
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 green onion

Instructions

    Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

    Dice the onion and mince the garlic cloves.

    Add onion and garlic to the pot, sautéing until onion is translucent, about 3 minutes.
