Ingredients
For 4 servings
- 4 salmon fillet
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoon butter
- 2 clove garlic
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoon fresh dill
- 1 tablespoon capers
Instructions
- 1
Pat salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
- 2
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- 3
Place salmon fillets skin-side down into the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, until cooked through and golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- 4
Reduce heat to medium, add butter to the skillet, and melt. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- 5
Stir in the heavy cream, lemon zest, and lemon juice, and bring to a simmer.
- 6
Cook the sauce for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
- 7
Add chopped fresh dill and capers to the sauce, stirring to combine.
- 8
Return the salmon fillets to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat everything through.
- 9
Serve the salmon with sauce drizzled on top, garnished with additional dill if desired.
