- 2 15 oz cans canned chickpeas
- 1 red onion
- 2 carrot
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 egg
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil

Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas, then mash them in a large mixing bowl, leaving some texture.

Peel and finely chop the red onion and garlic cloves. Grate the carrots.

Add the chopped onion, garlic, and grated carrots to the mashed chickpeas.
