Ingredients

  • 400 g spaghetti
  • 100 g Pecorino Romano cheese
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 cups water

Instructions

    Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add 1 teaspoon of salt.

    Add the spaghetti to the boiling water and cook until al dente, according to the package instructions.

    While the pasta cooks, finely grate the Pecorino Romano cheese.

    Reserve 1 cup of the pasta cooking water and set aside.

    Drain the spaghetti, then return it to the pot over low heat.
