Ingredients

For 4 servings

  • 4 salmon fillet
  • 1 pound asparagus
  • 1 lemon
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt — to taste
  • black pepper — to taste
  • 2 clove garlic

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

Rinse the asparagus under cold water and trim the woody ends.

  3. 3

Place asparagus on a large baking sheet and drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Season with salt and pepper, then toss to coat evenly.

  4. 4

Lay the salmon fillets on the baking sheet next to the asparagus. Drizzle remaining olive oil over the salmon, and season with salt and pepper.

  5. 5

Mince the garlic and sprinkle over both asparagus and salmon.

  6. 6

Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice evenly over the salmon and asparagus. Slice the remaining lemon and place slices over the salmon fillets.

  7. 7

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until the salmon is fully cooked and flakes easily with a fork and asparagus is tender.

  8. 8

Serve hot, garnished with extra lemon slices if desired.
