Ingredients

- 300 g spaghetti
- 400 g shrimp
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 clove garlic
- 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp parsley
- salt — to taste
- black pepper — to taste
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes

Boil water in a large pot, add salt, and cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of the pasta water.

While the pasta is cooking, peel and devein shrimp. Pat dry with paper towels.

In a large pan, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add shrimp to the pan, season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook until shrimp are pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.

Zest and juice the lemon, then add both to the shrimp along with the chopped parsley.
