- 1 cup dried black beans
- 1 cup white rice
- 14.5 oz canned diced tomatoes
- 1 onion
- 3 clove garlic
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups water

Rinse and soak black beans overnight. Drain and rinse again.
