Ingredients
For 4 servings
- 4 salmon fillet
- 2 tablespoon fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoon fresh dill
- 1 lemon
- 4 tablespoon butter
- 2 clove garlic
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- salt — to taste
- black pepper — to taste
Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 2
Finely chop the fresh parsley and dill. Zest the lemon and set the juice aside.
- 3
In a small bowl, combine parsley, dill, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper to taste.
- 4
Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels and brush lightly with olive oil.
- 5
Press the herb mixture onto the top of each salmon fillet to form a crust.
- 6
Place the salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- 7
Meanwhile, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- 8
Add the reserved lemon juice to the butter mixture and stir to combine. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- 9
Remove the salmon from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
- 10
Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the salmon fillets and serve immediately.
