- 400 grams canned lentils
- 400 grams canned tomatoes
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- salt — to taste
- black pepper — to taste

Cook pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
